Rosario

Hola, amigos! Hoy estoy hablando de Rosario! Hopefully, I wrote that grammatically correct in Spanish, haha. I know quite a lot of words in Spanish, now, but I have some work to do in the grammar department. But anyways, as promised, today I’ll be talking about/showing photos of Rosario. I had many requests for photos of architecture, which I was more than happy to oblige. I also thought it would be fun to share some of the things I’ve learned… Read more »

black cape top

Click to shop:   While I’m no stranger to twirling like a maniac in my dresses and skirts, I do believe this is the first time I’ve ever attempted to twirl with one of my tops. Haha. But this flowy material was too fun to not try it with! My mom had bought me this top for Christmas, but I had wanted to wait to wear it with jeans. And now I am finally getting some jeans weather! I still… Read more »

Starry night skirt

Click to shop: Wahoo! The rest of our suitcases arrived safe and sound. No more living out of just one! (It honestly felt like Christmas morning when they were delivered, haha.) Which of course means I now have more clothing and more than 3 pairs of shoes to mix and match again. Phew! I was excited to be reunited with some of my quirkier pieces again…such as this The Starry Night skirt. It’s such a fun piece! I had styled… Read more »

Mgarr ix xini gozo

Guest Post by Elena Prokopets Gozo is a charming island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea in Europe, forming part of the Maltese archipelago, i.e the country of Malta. The island of Gozo has around 37,000 inhabitants with an area of 67 square kilometers and has been inhabited for thousands of years. When setting foot for the first time on the island, one can notice that Gozo is filled with nature, beaches and historical landmarks. It seems that life… Read more »

high waisted shorts

It’s been awhile since I’ve done an outfit remix post! And typically when I do an outfit remix it’s centered around a slightly more unusual clothing piece than a pair of shorts. However, the purpose of this post is to show that a single pair of high-waisted jean shorts can get a ton of use! They can also have a lot of different looks…even with using similar accessories. (I tend to wear the same shoes, use the same bags &… Read more »

VIPMe collared white top

Yay for Friday! In all honesty, I will probably be re-wearing this outfit again tonight when I go out to dinner. Not only do I like it for the weekend, but I’m running quite low on clothing at the moment, haha. I’ve been living out of one suitcase and my carry on since the end of March! Which means there’s been a lot of re-wearing of outfits going on, and having to get creative with mixing and matching my clothing…. Read more »

the haka

This post will mark the end of our adventure in New Zealand. And our evening at the Tamaki Maori Village in Rotorua was the perfect way to wrap up our trip. If you’re heading to Rotorua, I highly recommend spending a night at the Tamaki Maori Village to learn more about their ancient culture. (Maori are the indigenous Polynesian people of New Zealand.) The Tamaki Maori Village is about 15 minutes outside Rotorua nestled in a forest. The night… Read more »

Happy Monday! And to my friends in the US, happy Memorial Day. I’m kicking this week off with a giveaway! It’s been awhile since I hosted one. And I’m excited to be giving away $40 worth of clothing from JustFashionNow. (Giveaway is at the end of this post.) JustFashionNow is a new-to-my-blog online company. That’s where the dress in theses photos is from. I am all about flowy chiffon dresses lately. And I love that this one is cute on… Read more »

Navy Blue Bird Print Spaghetti Strap Midi Dress

Similar dress available here: I know, I know, everyone is excited for summer and breaking out their best sundresses and prettiest pastels and planning what to take to the beach. However, all my complaining about missing out on fall 7 months ago has finally caught up with me. Fall has arrived here in Argentina (or at least it did this past weekend)! And I must say, this cold weather is for the birds! It was a chilly, blustery afternoon when… Read more »

Waiotapu

With names such as “Champagne Pool,” “Devil’s Bath” and “Artist’s Palette”…you know the sights in Wai-O-Tapu are going to be anything but boring. Wai-O-Tapu is an active geothermal area about a half hour away from Rotorua, New Zealand. It has rightfully been dubbed “New Zealand’s most colorful volcanic area.” And it is, in my opinion, the best spot to see geothermal activity in that area. What you’ll see: I was blown away by the sights in Wai-O-Tapu! It has everything… Read more »

Sydney shopping spree outfit

A couple of outfit posts ago I mentioned a shopping spree I went on the night before I left Sydney, Australia. I had been pretty “good” until that night about my shopping while I was in Sydney, despite temptation lurking around every corner. I mean, I even lived within walking distance of the Pitt Street Mall, which is home to some very yummy restaurants and, most importantly, 600 different stores…including Kate Spade, Review Australia and Nine West (a.k.a. a few… Read more »

bilbo baggins home in Hobbiton, New zealand

“It’s a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there’s no knowing where you might be swept off to.” ― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings And today, we are getting swept off to none other than Hobbiton in New Zealand! Whether you’re a big fan of “The Hobbit” & “Lord of the Rings,” or not, Hobbiton is still a must-do when you’re in New Zealand. I… Read more »

VIPme dress

I did it… I finally shot an outfit post out and about in Rosario, Argentina! And I even put together a tiny little video too, showing off the twirl-ability of this VIPme dress, at the end of the post. This weekend had been wonderfully lazy and relaxing, which was exactly what my hubby and I needed after all the traveling and moving. We took these photos yesterday on a little stroll to get coffee (I really love getting coffee in… Read more »

ModCloth blouse

Oofta! This past month has certainly been an interesting one. Our move to Argentina has proved to be our most challenging one yet. Not that that is a bad thing. It just means there are new things to learn and adapt to. We’ve also traveled to a total of 3 continents in less than a month, haha. And, unfortunately, while I’m learning and adapting and traveling, creating brand spanking new blog material in Argentina has not been happening as quickly… Read more »

te puia, new zealand

The second half of our New Zealand trip (in the North Island) did not exactly go according to plan. Our first day in Rotorua had torrential rainfall and flooding, which resulted in our full day tour of all the coolest geothermal thermal activity in the area getting canceled. But, thankfully, our hotel was within walking distance of Te Puia! So, we decided to make the most of the yucky weather and went to check it out! Te Puia is home… Read more »

Star Wars Cat Wars shirt

Sorry! I know I’m late to the party on this post… but happy belated Star Wars Day! This is the outfit I broke out for the occasion. As you can see, I was not in Argentina, but instead at my parent’s house. It was really nice to pop home and see everyone for a bit. (However, I do apologize for getting behind on my posts and such this last week!) This isn’t the most exciting Star Wars-themed outfit I’ve ever… Read more »

camping

Guest Post by Victor Spring is in the air and camping season is just around the corner. And adventure-lovers are starting to plan their camping trips and hiking expeditions! Most of the time, you may be dependent on your car as a means of transportation for these adventures. This post will help you plan what’s essential to pack in your vehicle for these outings. It is also important to note that venturing into the wild can be risky; there are… Read more »

pink lace dress

This week took a rather unexpected turn, and I am actually back in the United States right now visiting family! My husband and I were approved by his company last minute to come home for our nephew’s baptism this past Sunday. So, this last week and a half was a little crazy as we prepared to fly from Argentina back to the US. (Sorry for not being as responsive to comments & social media right now!) I do have new… Read more »

skydiving Queenstown, NZ

With Queenstown, New Zealand being The Adventure Capital of the World and all, jumping 15,000 feet out of an airplane seemed like a reasonable thing to do while we were there. Right? Plus, we had already gotten ourselves warmed up by going bungy jumping off the world’s first bungy jump bridge while we were in Queenstown, and we were ready to try something even scarier! Jumping at 15,000 feet is the highest option you can do at NZOne Skydive. (There… Read more »

Meet Jodie! She’s this month’s Featured Fashionista and the creator of the unique, fashion blog “Jodie’s Touch of Style.” Jodie’s blog is truly one-of-a-kind! She not only features outfits she’s styled for herself, but she’s also featuring outfits she’s styled for two other models as well. Jodie is quite the busy blogger! The way Jodie’s blog works is she features three looks in each post that represent a different age group: her own (the 50s model), Nancy’s (the 60s model)… Read more »

Shein ruffle sleeves white top

The only kind of drama I like – dramatic sleeves! And this my first outfit post from Rosario! I do still have travel posts left from New Zealand, but I wanted to break this week up a bit and not go too travel crazy. So, here’s a little outfit post to spice things up. I’m always a bit late to join the party when it comes to trends, but I do LOVE the dramatic sleeves trend that has been going… Read more »

Milford Sound

I know in my last post I said that Queenstown, New Zealand was one of the most beautiful areas I have ever seen. But, Milford Sound and Fiordland National Park are certainly tied for that title, in my opinion! Milford Sound and Fiordland National Park are actually not too far from Queenstown, but it takes quite a long time to get there by car from Queenstown because the roads are so curvy and windy. And let me tell you, it… Read more »

Queenstown, NZ

Usually, when I go through my photos for blog posts, I tend to think the photos make a place (or me) look a bit better than it (or I) actually am. However, while I was going through these photos this week, I was rather disappointed. I mean, these are showing some gorgeous landscapes – but it was one of those things that was so much more impressive in person. I don’t believe I’ve ever been so awestruck by an area… Read more »

Queenstown, NZ

Holy moly, I know this is an outfit post, but would you look at that background! These photos were taken in Queenstown, New Zealand on our trip a couple weeks ago (this is the same area as my bungy jump post on Monday). I don’t know if I have seen a place quite as beautiful as Queenstown. It literally looked like a postcard every place you turned! But anyways, I’ll be sharing some proper beauty shots of Queenstown on Friday…let’s… Read more »

The-Original-Kawarau-Bridge-Bungy-Jump-in-Queenstown

If you’re going to be visiting the place where bungee jumping got started, you might as well go bungy jumping…right? I am deathly afraid of heights, but I had always told myself if I ever made it to New Zealand, I was going to jump off The Kawarau Bridge. So, when we were in New Zealand, this was literally the first thing we did. (This way I didn’t have time to chicken out. Haha.) The Kawarau Bridge is where bungy… Read more »

Rosario, Argentina at sunset

We made it! It was one heck of a journey from Sydney to Queenstown, NZ to Rotorua, NZ to Auckland, NZ and then Buenos Aires, but we’re finally moved into our new place in Rosario. I just wanted to give a little update on how everything went, as I’ve been getting some questions that I haven’t had a chance to respond to. (It’s been a bit crazy + we JUST got the internet in our place.) And I’ll start posting… Read more »

Judy Blue jean shorts

If you’re reading this post, it means I have made it to Rosario…but I haven’t quite gotten my hands on decent wifi yet. This happened when I came to Australia too, but this time, I figured I would have a backup plan instead of willing a coffee shop’s bandwidth to increase with my brain. So, here’s my scheduled backup plan post! Haha. Enjoy! Click to shop: I know, I’ve worn variations of this outfit before. But, hey, it’s been awhile!… Read more »
