Outfit Remix – 1 Pleated Skirt Styled 7 Ways

I had a sneaking suspicion that this pleated skirt was going to be versatile when I bought it years ago…but I didn’t expect to get quite this much use out of it! I knew that it’s been on the blog a lot, but I didn’t realize I was already up to 7 times! This was one good investment piece (and the stretchy waistband is super comfy).

However, it’s never been the center of an outfit post. It’s always been more of a canvas, so I can get creative with my top, leggings, purse, etc. It lends itself to be being the background, so I can wear all the crazy stuff I want, and not look too crazy.

So, without further ado, here are all the ways I’ve worn my grey pleated skirt!

1.) Hello Kitty

My first outfit post featuring this lovely skirt. This outfit was actually the reason I bought this skirt…I thought it would all go so nicely together, and be a fun way to wear the cat sweatshirt instead of just pairing it with pants. Wow, and these photos were taken almost a couple years ago already! Time sure does fly!

2.) The Winter Soldier

Any chance to show off how a big of a Winter Soldier fan I am! And also a nice reminder that I really need to break these galaxy leggings out again! But I’m here to tell you, galaxy leggings can be a bit tricky to style…but once again, this skirt gave me the perfect balance to pull it off.

3.) My “Feeling Adventurous Outfit”

Perhaps the most normal way I’ve worn this skirt since buying it…but this outfit still has a fun story behind it. And hmmm…I really need to buy more tops in this color, I think this is the only one I own.

4.) A Spooktacular Outfit

A very seasonally appropriate outfit right now! This skull shirt matched so perfectly with my purple leggings…thank goodness for the grey skirt again! (And yay for getting to break purple lipstick out!)

5.) Living in a Winter Wonderland

Oooh, one more outfit that didn’t include a crazy, quirky top of some sort. I really like to wear this skirt with these stockings and shoes apparently!

6.) Adventures in Harajuku: Outfit

One of my first outfit posts from Tokyo this summer! This skirt was soooo comfy in the 10,000 degree summer days of Tokyo (or as comfy as I could get). I was sweating horrifically the day these photos were taken, haha.

7.) The Story of a Star Wars Outfit & a Maid Cafe

Star Wars shirt

Like I said, this skirt works well with balancing out my crazy tops & purses. Haha. How else are you supposed to wear a Hawaiian Star Wars shirt and 2D purse?! 😉

I love pleats skirts, dear Lindsey, and wearing this with so many variations, it’s so good! I loved number one, with hood and white/cream elements, and then with the galaxy stockings and finally the 3rd favorite is the last one with the 2d bag! Each outfit with the skirt is lovely, but these 3 I mentioned were my favorite ones 🙂 Hope you have a lovely weekend!!!
