How to Style a Yellow Cardigan: 12 Yellow Cardigan Outfits

Cardigan season is almost here! The temps are supposed to start dipping at any moment now, and we can finally don our cute cardigans again. Not that the warm temps stop me from wearing mine, I almost always carry a cardigan with me, as you never know when the air conditioning will be on too high or the night a little chilly.

My yellow cardigan has been a staple in my closet for over 5 years now. It’s actually become a bit of a joke with some of my friends on Instagram how often I feature it. But hey, it’s comfortable, soft, clearly very durable and VERY versatile.

I thought for this post it would be fun to take a look at the various ways I’ve styled it over the years. This cardigan (plus the 15 or so other colors it comes in) is currently on sale! 1.) Yellow Cardigan + Plaid Dress

2.) Yellow Cardigan + Striped Top

Perhaps the most frequently worn outfit with this cardigan. I love pairing it with stripes!

My most worn dress and most worn cardigan are finally making an appearance together in this outfit. I fell in love with this gingham dress, and the cardigan worked great as the sun went down.

I think I had actually ordered this dress and this cardigan at the same time. So, they’ve both been staples in my closet for many years!

Any time I pair green and yellow together, my fellow Wisconsinites enjoy it. Haha. Our NFL team, the Green Bay Packers, use yellow and green as their team colors. The more you know! Haha.

Oooh, this is my favorite outfit featuring this cardigan. It really only works during fall, but I love this color combo! And hey! Look how long and red my hair used to be, haha.
