Flowers Here, Flowers There, Flowers Everywhere!

I spent almost an entire weekend admiring a plethora of flowering tress. My husband and I went to visit the cherry blossoms (and magnolia blossoms) in Washington, D.C. So, this seemed to be an appropriate time for me to wear a dress with flowers on it.
I’ve had this dress for a really, really long time. It’s actually from Hollister, which means it had to have been bought circa high school. Ha. I haven’t worn it in years, mainly because I no longer realized I had it. But after all the packing and unpacking, I managed to stumble across it again. It was like getting a new dress! Flowered skirts are everywhere this spring, and I’ve caught myself nearly ordering a skirt that looked very similar to the bottom of this dress!
I had bought my yellow cardigan a year ago to go with a very specific outfit. I didn’t think I would get a ton of use out of it. However, I’m a bit shocked as to how much I have been wearing it over this past year. It goes with many different outfits in my closet, and is perfect for spring colors. It’s also really soft and comfortable.
My flats I’m wearing are also incredibly comfortable. I’ve had them for at least 5 years, and walked many, many miles through many different cities with them. The only thing that ever bothered me with them, was they seemed to dig into the back of my heel a bit (after walking roughly 8 miles). So, I picked up some heel inserts from Target before I wore them for this trip, and I had absolutely no issues!
Sorry, for so many pictures. My husband really outdid himself with his picture taking this weekend, and I was having a hard time choosing which ones to use with all the pretty flowers!
