You might be wondering what are the top things that I should have in my makeup bag? It wasn’t easy, but I narrowed it down to what I consider the top five makeup tools you should have in your makeup bag.
Most eyelashes grow outward and not upward, so applying mascara without curling your lashes won’t provide the same impact. Keep a lash curler in your bag to give your lashes an extra boost throughout the day.
Invest in a sharp pair of quality tweezers that will last forever. I use tweezers for a variety of things – plucking stray hairs or even helping place eyelashes.
I love these guys, and they are under 10 bucks for 24 sticks. They are cotton tip swabs pre-filled with skin-conditioning mascara and makeup remover and helps remove smudges or smears around the eye area.
It can be a little overwhelming with all of the brush options available today. Get a good brush set. Make sure you clean your brushes once a week, too, to avoid product and bacteria buildup (which can cause some gnarly breakouts!)
