Blooper Photos of 2017

In honor of Have Clothes, Will Travel’s recent blogiversary here is another round of blooper photos! I had shared a post last year around my blogiversary featuring some of my favorite blooper photos from my blog, and everyone seemed to enjoy it as much as I did. So, I’ve decided to make this a yearly reoccurring post on Have Clothes, Will Travel. (You’re welcome!)

I do have to admit, that last year’s photos might have been better. I like to think that it’s because I have become more coordinated and less of a weirdo in front of the camera. But I think that might be wishful thinking, haha. Either way, I was still able to find enough giggle worthy photos for this post!

I’ll attempt to briefly explain what was probably happening at the time the blooper photos were shot and also link to the post they came from if you’re interested in seeing the “normal” photos. Enjoy!

#1 SMILE

Ok, I know exactly what happened here. Haha. My husband told me to “smile” and this was the look I gave him. He was quick enough to capture it too before I smiled “normally.” Haha.

#2 Protecting my Hair?

There was a big gust of wind and I must have thought this weird pose would protect my hair? I don’t know. Either way, I know it didn’t work. Haha.

#3 Twirling Gone Wrong (Again)

Very rarely do my twirling photos actually turn out. Haha. But that hasn’t discouraged me from trying! 😉

#4 The Wind Sucks

The wind is the cause of at least 80 percent of my blooper photos! And in this photo, I was absolutely freezing too. Thankfully, sunglasses saved me from looking too weird. Haha.

#5 Blinking Happens

My husband’s biggest complaint about helping me take photos is that I blink too much. Over half of my photos end up looking like this! Whoops! What can I say? I have dry eyes? (Maybe?)

#6 Overzealous Twirling

Sometimes I really overcompensate for my inability to twirl properly…and then I get photos like this. Haha.

#7 A Photogenic Camel Ride

This lovely photo was snapped during our trip to Uluru in Australia last November. Not only did our camel make some really weird faces, he also sounded like an honest-to-goodness dinosaur while he made that face! Thankfully my hair was hiding my face for this pic!

#8 A Wardrobe Malfunction Waiting to Happen

I’m counting this photo as a win. This dress was a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen. One gust of wind could’ve ended badly! So, if a weird hair shot is all I got out of this gust of wind – then phew!

#9 Broken Face

My face was just not cooperating this day! I couldn’t take a normal picture to save my life! It’s a miracle I scrounged together enough photos to actually make this into an outfit post. Haha.

#10 Hands Up!

Oh good grief, haha. Sometimes the camera catches ya at just the right moment! I was trying to fix my hair and making an incredibly unflattering face at the same time. Doh!
