The LIKEtoKNOW.it App Explained + a Giveaway!

Happy Friday, everyone! There are lots of exciting things happening on Have Clothes, Will Travel right now. But first of all, let’s talk about today’s giveaway which features a $50 ModCloth gift card!

What is LIKEtoKNOW.it?

Quite a while ago, I mentioned my Instagram outfit photos are shoppable because of the amazing technology called LIKEtoKNOW.it. You simply sign up with LIKEtoKNOW.it, and then take a screenshot (or if on Instagram, like the photo) and you’ll get shoppable links of the outfit sent to your email. If you’re ever wondering which of my photos are shoppable, you’ll know by the little heart in the lower right-hand corner. Check it out in my photo, below.

Now, if you’re signed up with LIKEtoKNOW.it and you take a screenshot of that photo, you’ll get links to the items featured in the outfit (or similar items, if the originals are sold out). It’s magic!

But wait…there’s more! LIKEtoKNOW.it recently launched an app. So, you can easily shop your screenshots or your newsfeed right on the app. 

Pretty nifty!

So, now that there is an app available, I figured this would be a good time to encourage my readers to follow me on it! I chose to give away a $50 ModCloth gift card because out of all of the companies I link to on my Instagram LIKEtoKNOW.It photos…ModCloth is hands down the best selling retailer on my LIKEtoKNOW.it photos. Y’all really like my outfits when they feature ModCloth! So, giving away a gift card to ModCloth, seemed like a good idea! The photo below is my most popular LIKEtoKNOW.it photo, and it’s almost all ModCloth clothing.

I’m Heading Back to Peru!

Ok, now for the next part of this post. After this post is published I’m making a journey back to Peru! But this time I’ll be in the Amazon Rainforest near Iquitos living in a treehouse until Wednesday. (Seriously!) I posted a video of where I’m staying above.

Because I’m going to be in the jungle…I won’t have cell phone reception, WiFi, much for electricity, etc. Therefore, there will not be a post on Monday, and I will not be able to update any social media channels or respond to messages until Wednesday. Sorry! But hopefully, the giveaway will make up for it.

I’ve never gone that long without checking my phone, email, social media, etc. It’s going to be so nice! What’s the longest you’ve ever gone without technology?

And the blog will be back to normal on Wednesday! Until then, I’ll be catching piranhas and hopefully seeing some pink dolphins! Stay tuned…
