I just returned from a trip to Florida and stayed in this VRBO in Ruskin. It’s much more affordable than the rest of the listings in this post! You can watch manatees and dolphins swim by in the canal (views are from the living room and the master bedroom).

This townhouse is located in the Little Harbor Beach Resort and Marina, which features a private half-mile beach, a riverside pool with a spa tub and lounge chairs, a shuffleboard court, horseshoe field, beach volleyball, a basketball court, a playground, and 2 great restaurants are also on-site!
