Guilty as a charged, folks! I know it’s been less than a month since you last saw this skirt…and I do try to do a slightly better job of not being a repeat offender when it comes to my outfit posts. Not to say that I don’t feature the same clothing items on here again and again. I just generally try to space out statement pieces a few months at a time.
However, I couldn’t stop myself from featuring this striped skirt again! It goes with so many things in my closet and is so easy to transition from winter to summer. (You can see my winter post from a few weeks ago with it here.) It’s comfy as all get out. (Hello, elastic waistband!) And it was perfect to break out for my dining experience over at Bondi Icebergs from my last post.
Also, quick shout out to Lauren over at Grace Rock Kelly Roll for introducing me to the “Miami Moments” tops. These are great for tucking into skirts! I love how it ties and the variety of colors and prints they come in. (Sorry, though, the color I’m wearing was clearanced out.)
However, I don’t know if I would like wearing this top if it wasn’t tucked in. It’s quite baggy on the bottom and looks a bit too tent-like on me. I had ordered my usual size medium, and I don’t think I could’ve gone down to a size small because the medium just fits through my chest and shoulders. So, I believe it’s just meant to be a baggier fit through the bottom (FYI).
Changing gears here, but how cool is this mural over by Bondi Beach? I love it! Dragonflies are my favorites…so, of course I had to get a photo with it. 🙂
I love the Bondi Beach area (where I had worn this outfit). I know most of the locals will tell you to go to Manly Beach (it’s way better for surfing)…but Bondi is just so BIG. You never have to worry about getting a spot on the beach when you’re there. Which is probably where I’ll end up this weekend…haha.
What are your plans for the weekend? And are you a repeat offender like me? 😉 Or do you do a better job of spacing out your statement pieces? Let me know in the comments!
